Carlos Lopes is an award-winning television and film composer. He has performed all over the world with such artists as Cécille Frènette, Shirley Eikhard, Maurey Kaye, Phil Nimmons, Claude Ranger, Terry Clark, Mike Murley, Coco Brown, and Kevin Breit. He has been writing music for film and tv since the 1980s.

Carlos won a Genie Award for his original composition entitled Monica's Altar for the film Saint Monica. He has been nominated multiple times for Gemini Awards.

Carlos lives and works in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
